Rainbow Effect

On DLP projectors some people can see colour seperation on the edges of fast moving objects. This is the inability of the DLP colour wheels to refresh pixels fast enough. Manufacturers have reduced this effect in some projectors by increasing the speed and the number of colour segments in the colour wheel.
